Learn To Drive The Traffic To Your Web Site

A gorgeous website is nice. A hefty sale is even better. Getting from point A to point B takes the bridge called traffic. Getting people to your site is where the rubber really meets the road. It takes a nose-to-the-grindstone mentality, dedication to your business and a wee bit of luck. If you learn the basics to creating that bridge of trusting, ready-to-buy-mindset traffic, you're well on your way to creating a successful business. That is what I want to help you to do.

Here's my good deed list of the day ;):

  • Grab a copy of Allan Gardyne's "77 Ways To Get Traffic." It's F*R*E*E and is full of awesome ways to bring the crowds in.

  • Another great freebie that should be in your library of reference material is Ken Evoy's "Make Your Content PREsell." This will teach you the basics of building a "brand-of-one" relationship with your visitors and providing a trustworthy, knowledgeable voice throughout your web site. Learning to do this correctly can mean the difference between a sale and a big goose egg.

  • Here's a two-for-one ;) Sign up for Value Exchange. This F*R*E*E service helps you find and make contact with other high-value, similarly-themed sites that you can exchange links with to increase your popularity. Getting links to your site from other high-ranking sites makes the search engines stand up and take notice. They think, "Hey, this site is an important one!" That's exactly what you want.

Taking a closer look into the traffic building suggestions from Allan's e-book, Ken Evoy's "Make Your Links Work" will show you the why and how to getting those relevant and important backlinks to your site. This book can be downloaded from Value Exchange.

There you go. Playing "find today's secret search engine algorythm" and "juggle keywords on a pin" is not what you need to do to be found. In fact, it's a total waste of your efforts. You need quality content and you need to keep it simple and real with the search engines. These materials will get your traffic moving and eventually snowballing. Work hard and hang in there!

Here's to your success,

Tony
