PayPerPost's Full Disclosure Policy

PayPerPost's (a great company on the scene dealing in blog advertising) next step to calm the nerves of *some* people is to require it's bloggers to disclose that a post is a sponsored one. The blogger can opt to make that known in one fell swoop by letting the reader know anywhere on the blog, rather than within each post. It's seems *some* people are sleeping better over this decision.

Personally, I don't care and I think that it's much ado about nothing. As I stated in a previous blog post, it's a pretty simple fix to keep your integrity as a blogger: simply do not pick an opportunity that insists on a positive spin on their service or product, unless you truly feel that way. I don't think that anyone should be insisting that their company be painted in a positive light, regardless of their business ethics or tactics or whatever. Only take neutral and review opportunities, have at it and keep your conscience clear. Not too hard, huh?

Oh, well, you can read more about it at http://www.techcrunch.com/2006/12/16/payperpost-does-something-right/

And by the way, this is a sponsored post, but is totally my opinion on the whole matter. I just *love* having to defend myself. *eyeroll* *sigh*

What do you think about the whole thing?

Here's to your success!

Tony
