Google Hurting Affiliates with Google Checkout?

It's true. The wind sweeping through the trees right now is that merchants who are making Google Checkout available for their customers are inadvertently stripping affiliate links out. The holiday season is not a good time for all this to go down. The one cool thing about it is that, after Google heard about the problem this was causing, they jumped right on it and are working hard to resolve the issue. Thank goodness. I think Google Checkout is a great thing to offer, but not at our expense. Cross your fingers that they work it out before Christmas is over. Losing commissions is not what we need right now, or ever for that matter.
